Wiz Arts Digital

Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 13, 2026 · Applies to Park Explore and all Wiz Arts Digital park-guide apps for iPhone and iPad.

This Privacy Policy explains what information our apps ("the App," "we," "us") use, how it is used, and the choices you have. Our apps are independent, unofficial guides and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by The Walt Disney Company, LEGOLAND, Merlin Entertainments, or any theme park operator.

Information We Collect

We do not require an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, or any other directly identifying information. The App uses the following data, all of it either processed on your device or sent only to the specific service that needs it to function:

Location. With your permission, the App uses your device's location to show your position on the park map, to power the "current location" button, and to provide in-app walking directions while a navigation session is active. Location is used only while the App is in use. It is not stored on our servers and is not shared with any party except as needed to render the map and directions (Apple Maps / MapKit).

Motion & Fitness. With your permission, the App reads step counts from the motion sensor at the end of an in-app walking-navigation session to show how far you walked. This stays on your device.

Health data (optional). If you enable it, the App reads step count, walking distance, flights climbed, calories burned (active and resting energy), heart rate, and logged water from Apple Health to show your day's stats on the Park Day Activity screen. The App writes exactly one thing to Apple Health, only when you ask: water you log with the in-app hydration tracker (saved as dietary water). Nothing else is ever written. Your health data never leaves your device; we do not have access to it, and it is never used for advertising or shared with any third party. Apple's HealthKit framework keeps it local under your control (Settings > Privacy & Security > Health). We do not store health data in iCloud.

Camera and Photos (optional). If you add a park ticket, you may scan its barcode with the camera or choose an image or PDF with the system picker. Tickets and the images you choose are stored only on your device and are never uploaded to us or anyone else. The App has no access to your photo library beyond the individual items you pick.

Live park data. Ride wait times, statuses, showtimes, and attraction locations are fetched from the third-party ThemeParks.wiki API. No personal information about you is sent as part of these requests.

Weather data. Current conditions and forecasts are provided by Apple WeatherKit for the park's location.

News. Headlines are fetched from the public RSS feeds of the news outlets shown in the App. Tapping a headline opens it in that outlet's app or website, which is governed by its own privacy policy.

Advertising. The App shows banner ads served by Google AdMob to support free use of the App. We request non-personalized ads only. Google's ad delivery may still use limited technical information (such as your device type and general, coarse location) for basic ad serving, frequency capping, and fraud prevention, and may collect device identifiers as described in Google's policies. The App does not use your device's advertising identifier to track you across other companies' apps or websites, and no Health, location, or ticket data is ever provided to the advertising SDK. See Google's privacy policy for how AdMob processes data: policies.google.com/privacy.

Diagnostics. The App may use Apple's standard, non-identifying crash and diagnostic reporting, subject to your device's "Share With App Developers" setting, to help us fix bugs.

How We Use Information

We use the data above solely to operate and improve the App: to show your location on the map, to guide you around the park, to display live park data, to show your activity for the day, to keep your tickets handy, to display ads that keep the App free, and to fix bugs. We do not sell your information, and we do not build profiles of you.

Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent personal information. The limited data described above is shared only with the third-party services that provide App functionality — Apple (Maps, WeatherKit, HealthKit, App Store), ThemeParks.wiki, and Google AdMob — each governed by its own privacy policy. Each of these providers is required to protect user data to at least the standard described here.

Data Retention and Deletion

We operate no servers that store your data, so there is nothing for us to retain or delete on your behalf. Everything the App keeps — favorited rides, your saved parking spot, tickets and ticket images, settings — lives on your device and is removed when you delete the App. Water you logged to Apple Health remains in the Health app under your control and can be deleted there.

Your Choices

You can change or revoke location, Motion & Fitness, Health, and camera access at any time in your device's Settings (for Health: Settings > Health > Data Access & Devices). You can delete the App at any time.

Children's Privacy

Our apps are general-audience apps intended for park guests and families and are not directed specifically at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate action.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
